As of 2025, PGWP eligibility for college programmes is tied to a field-of-study list aligned with Canada's labour shortages. University degree programmes are largely unaffected.
Before you accept a college offer, cross-check the CIP code against the IRCC eligible field list. A wrong programme choice can cost you the work permit entirely.
